ITSA uses standard HTTP status codes to indicate the success or failure of an API request. You may encounter the following error codes when using the ITSA API:

  • 400 (Bad Request): The server could not process your request, likely due to an invalid argument.
  • 403 (Forbidden): Your request was rejected due to a permission issue, likely a restriction on your API key.
  • 404 (Not Found): The requested resource could not be found.
  • 422 (Unprocessable Entity): The request was well-formed but was unable to be followed due to semantic errors. Double check your request and make sure it has no semantic errors.
  • 429 (Too Many Requests): The API keys rate limit was exceeded. Consider slowing down your API Request frequency.
  • 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected server issue was encountered. This error is unlikely to occur.
